A true keloid is a an overgrowth of scar tissue that extends well beyond the confines of of the injury. It is unlikely that you son has a true keloid. Scar revison is possible, but while improvement of the appearance of the area is likely, it will not disappear. Even significant improvement may not make you son comfortable with exposure of the area. He would need to be seen in consultation to determine the expected degree of improvement and if the results of revision with meet his expectations.   « less

There are a large range of implant sizes available for breast augmentation. I always perform a fitting for implant size at a separate visit before each procedure to insure that the volume of the implant selected matches the expectation of each patient. Small discrepancies can occur after septorhinoplasty, particularly after any complex nasal surgery. At only three weeks post surgery, it is way too early to judge the final results of your procedure. If irregularity persists over the bridge of the nose after three to four months, then a minor touch-up would be appropriate and is a relatively easy and common procedure. If additional surgery is required, then full healing of the bones and cartilage is essential. Any revision would typically be postponed until nine to twelve months after the original procedure. Any surgery performed sooner risks shattering of the bone and an unsuccessful result.   « less

This condition needs to be evaluated by actual measurement of the degree of protrusion (proptosis) of her eyes and also an evaluation if there is some underlying condition causing this problem (sometimes a result of thyroid disease). A local physician should see her for an examination.   « less
