If sagging is not severe, and there is a desire to increase breast volume, then an implant can be used alone to lift the breast. - My son (now 24 yrs old) had a surgery when he broke his arm when he was about 14 years old and left an ugly scar. The length of the scar is about 2/3 the length of his forearm, and in some areas about 3/8 in width and protruding. This made him extremely self conscious and won't wear anything but long sleeves.

I always perform a fitting for implant size at a separate visit before each procedure to insure that the volume of the implant selected matches the expectation of each patient. I rarely have regrets about implant size after surgery. You would obviously need to be seen in consultation to insure that the implant size you desire is available. « less
- Hi Doctor Rosenberg:
I have breast implants for 8 years now and have had no problems. I've heard lately that some plastic surgeons say they should be replaced ever 10 years. Is this true? My surgeon said that is false, but that was back in 1999. Has anything changed since then in the regards?
Thanks

- I had rhino-septoplasty 18 days ago. I had a hump removed from the bridge of my nose. I am concerned because I still have a couple of bumps on my nose. They are worse on the left side of my nose. The Dr said he had to place cartlidge on the bridge as a filler because some of the bone broke away when he broke the bone. Will these bumps go away? Is there anything I can do to help? This is making me nervous...any advice?

At only three weeks post surgery, it is way too early to judge the final results of your procedure. If irregularity persists over the bridge of the nose after three to four months, then a minor touch-up would be appropriate and is a relatively easy and common procedure. If additional surgery is required, then full healing of the bones and cartilage is essential. Any revision would typically be postponed until nine to twelve months after the original procedure. Any surgery performed sooner risks shattering of the bone and an unsuccessful result. « less
- Hi I have a question regarding my daughter who is 16 years old.(We live near L.A). She has protruding eyes, which are noticeable only up-close, and I believe it is hereditary. She would not be really bothered by it but she complains that when she does not get enough sleep or recently when one of our loved ones passed away and she cried a lot, she had terrible headaches and her eyes hurt very much to the point where she couldn't cough or sneeze or even open her eyes much. She wants to have plastic surgery to correct them urgently before she goes to college in 9 months, but I would like to know if such a surgery is possible, what the risks are,and where she can get this done. Thank you so much for your time!
