Lisa, Having had a tummy tuck will not interfere with any future need for intra-abdominal surgery of any kind. A tummy tuck is a relatively superficial operation and can easily be ignored if emergency or elective abdominal surgery is performed later.   « less

Madison, The fat used for injection must come from your own body or, if you have one, an identical twin. It will be rejected otherwise. Liquid silicone injections may look great initially, but the silicone is well know to migrate over time and has resulted in devastating problems. I would be very leary of getting injected. Solid or semi solid gel implants, are certainly used for buttocks augmentation, but patients do claim they feeling like sitting on rocks and their placement can be problematic and they are associated with a relatively high risk of infection and the need for removal.   « less

Alteration of asymmetrical breasts is certainly possible. Although the goal would be a perfect match, your plastic surgeon should be honest about what realistic expectations can be achieved. In your case, a reduction/lift of the larger side can be possibly be done at the time of an augmentation with an implant and possible shape alteration (if needed) of the smaller side.   « less

Liposuction can be performed on your neck withour requiring weight loss. This will definitedly improved you neck contour and there will be some skin shrinkage following the procedure. If you then loose significant weight, do not be suprised to need a necklfit procedure to take care of lax skin and underlying plastyma muscle.   « less

While this procedure is currently being performed by the "off label" use of an ophthalmologic drug, I would discourage its use. Injected silicone gel in soft tissues is well know to migrate and potentially cause inflammatory reactions. If this occurs, any attempt to remove the product completely is not possible and can result in considerable disfigurement. Use of your own fat (via liposuction and reinjection), if it survives the transplantation, is permanent, natural, completely tolerated, and has none of the above side effects. The primary downside to fat injections is the risk that not all of the injected fat is certain to survive and there is a possibility that additional procedures for reinection may be necessary. This, however, is far better than the disasters that are well documented with silicone injections.   « less

SCar tissue will build up around any implant within the first 10 days after the procedure. This is a natural reaction to a foreign body implant. Exercise will have no bearing creation of additional scar tissue build up.   « less

This problem can be corrected with either additional selective liposuction with or without fat injections to any depressed areas.

The permament filler done in a foreign country was probably silicone gel. The addition of a non-permanent filler (Restylane) can help create more symmetry, but you could have swelling on the fuller side side due to inflamatory reaction to both the Restylane and the silicone at only three days. My advise would be to wait a week or two to allow this to settle down, and if still a problem, have it re-evaluated by your doctor.   « less

At only two weeks post-op lipo of the neck, most patients find lumpiness and hardness with some stiffness due to healing and scarring beneath the skin. This should resolve with time over the next month.   « less

For patients in the USA, silicone gel implants were just approved for use in cosmetic breast augmentation by the FDA as an alternative to saline implants.
