If you want to send the signal out to another TV you have to send it out through the composite, S video, Component video or the HDMI. Those are your only choices. The HDMI or component video signal could be converted to a cat5 cable signal through a video extender up to 300 feet. These are made by Gefen (Gefen.com) and are a bit pricey, but are the only way to send the signal out to another room. « less
- I have a HDTV-ready TV and subscribe to an HD package from the cable company. Obviously, I'm using the HD tuner in my cable box for the HD signal. However, my cable company is in a dispute with the local CBS and ABC affiliates, so I don't get their HD signals. How can I send the signal from a HD antenna through the cable box in order to get these stations in high-def?

- I just installed Dish network. The signal goes to a new lcd HD system and off to a regular SD tv. All that works fine. I would like to split the signal coming to the SD tv and send it to another sd tv in a seperate room. I don't care if same channel is displayed but when I attemt to split signal screen says trying and can't find satellite. Any ideas?

- Arden, I have a roof mounted OTA HD antenna and I would like to split the signal to two different HD Directv receivers. I tried a regular splitter and a 5x8 multiswitch but neither will allow either one of my HD directv receivers to pick up any HD local channels. Thank you for any help

First you need this splitter to divide the antenna signal to two signals. Second you also need to put one diplexor on each line at the out put of the » moreFirst you need this splitter to divide the antenna signal to two signals. Second you also need to put one diplexor on each line at the out put of the multiswitch to combine the satellite and antenna signals. Third you need to feed those lines to diplexors instead of a splitter to get the two signals to break out for the receivers. You need one diplexor for each receiver. Diplexors work in both directions combining on one side and splitting out on the other side. « less
- Hi Arden, I live in near the intersection of Barryessa and Capitol Ave. According to Antenna Web all stations are 40-45 miles away. Which Antenna do I use and will I be able to recieve any signal? I was thinking of DB4 Antenna from Antenna Direct..Please advice.

- i have purchased a smsung 42 " plasma it has been running perfect for 1 month. now it has shut off and the blue eye is blinking on & off and the tv is making a clicking on & off sound. I have unplugged the unit and the picture will come on for 30 seconds and it then returns to th clicking sound. Is this something that si hooked up inproperly or does the tv need service thank you

- I have DirecTV service with a Terk clip-on antenna for off-air signals. I am going to purchase a terrestrial HD tuner soon. Can I connect the "off-air" cable from my Terk diplexor to the HD tuner to receive HD channels or is there some issue with using diplexors and HD signals?

It is the clip on antenna that I have an issue with. That is not the best off air HD antenna to use. It will probably get you some channels but not all channels in your area. Try a Channel Master 4221 or 4228 instead if you can. « less
- Can you use a splitter on a Direct TV DVR? I know you need 2 seperate lines going into the DVR, which I have. But I also have another room that I want to install a regular reciever in.
